In Warranty Hardware Repair

Hardware repair with active warranty can be checked into our service center to be mailed out to the device's manufacture or our partnered service providers. Students that check in a device through our service center may have the option to rent a loner laptop during the repair duration. Students who are a part of the legacy Student Laptop Program may check out a loaner for free. Repair fee's vary based on manufacturer, warranty level, and extent of damage.

AppleCare+

Every Mac comes with a one-year limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary telephone technical support. AppleCare+ for Mac extends your coverage to three years from the original purchase date of your Mac and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage protection every 12 months, each subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for any other damage, plus applicable tax. In addition, you'll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone.

Other

Biohazard Fee: $60 for any computer brought to us with a biohazard (blood, vomit, urine, etc.) MiTech will not fix these units.

* A MacBook Pro that will not boot and requires the hard drive or system board removed to do data backup may require additional labor. Labor will be charged by the hour. Labor $60 per hour.
